Maidstone carriage museum
We carried out some major repairs on the Maidstone carriage museum in Kent, it is a grade II listed building and needed to meet very strict requirements to get the job done. The job involved replacing the rotten fascia and soffit around the perimeter of the building, replacing everything in a like for like fashion, using Elm wood, as this was the required spec to match the original building dating back to the 1800’s. All work was carried out to our usual high standards and safe working practices. All work was completed off a mobile scaffold tower; also it was over 40 degrees centigrade for the duration of the job!
